Dr. Ava Frick’s Animal Fitness Center for Pet Pain Relief
Horse joint pain is something that has never crossed my mind. I always assumed horses, like my horse Semper, didn’t feel pain or get sick. When my beautiful pet Semper seemed to be aching, I had no clue where to begin. Looking online I found this great website about an Animal Fitness Center by Dr. Ava Frick. I found out that all animals can get sick just like humans. If I hadn’t brought my equine friend to the doctor on time, his joint problems would have exacerbated and I would really not forgive myself for being so insensitive to his pain.Animal Pain Relief
What Dr. Ava Frick explained to me was that horse joint pain is common to equines that are at least 15 years of age. Just like us, their tendons can wear down and ache in cold weather. I have had Semper since I was 14 and am realizing that he is growing old too and experiencing horse arthritis and stiffness and swelling. I guess my equine friend has already been suffering for quite a while but I just was not able to sense the discomfort and pain that he was feeling. I was still putting him through hours of practice and even rode him everyday around our farm.
Medication and drugs are usually given for equine joint pain. I do know that to much medication and drugs can lead to organ failure and problems for my horse. I really just wanted to make sure Semper was treated with alternatives to medication. Good thing Dr. Ava Frick also supports different types of therapy and pain management programs that are all natural. The main thing I liked about the Animal Fitness Center is their alternative treatment to relieving pain and discomfort in all animals. Not only do they specialize in relieving pain through electronic devices but they also concentrate on the proper nutrition needed for a fast recovery. I was truly relieved to see how my horse was cared for during his stay at the Animal Fitness Center.
One thing about the animal chiropractic care that Dr. Ava Frick gave to Semper is that it was custom just for him. This type of treatment is aimed at targeting the core of the problem and not merely the symptoms. Although medications can ease the horse joint pain felt by Semper, these will not really target to root cause of the problem, they will simply manage the symptoms. Massage therapy combined with PST, Pulsed Signal Therapy, was able to not only treat his pain but also helped the function of his problem areas. With in a few weeks of care at Ava Frick’s Animal Fitness Center, Semper showed great improvement.Animal Chiropractic
