It is Important to do Puppy Obedience
Puppy obedience is something that starts suprisingly early in their development. The amount of respect and puppy obedience in training is determined by the actual owner you purchased from.
Puppies, according to studies, are not ready for any training until at least three weeks of age. When puppies are born they know only of their mom, that they are hungry and that they need frequent naps. By the 21st to 28th day of a puppies life they begin to leave the blanket and search for somewhere to do their business. At this period, puppies become more aware of their surroundings and are growing more sensitive to stimuli. Now is the time to make great strides in a puppy’s mannerisms and behavior.
Getting Puppies Started with Encouragement
With positive reinforcement you can encourage your pet to achieve at a higher level. Positive reinforcement and treats work best of all. When you are needing to use negative stimuli for your puppy it should be limited to no and block any bad actions from your puppy with using your hands. Hitting or hurting is unnecessary for a young puppy and it should really be avoided.
Puppies should receive positive affection and praises each and every time they correctly respond to a command. Puppies rely on love, praise and reward to keep them engaged in a training regimen. When your dog has executed a command properly given a praise soon after will help teach them the fun and rewards from being obedient. Puppy obedience is based upon reinforcement of good behavior being linked with rewards. Praises and treats, when used as positive reinforcement, can enhance the training and encourage the puppy to respond to your commands.
Persistence Mixed with Great Timing
While puppy training, you should keep in mind that timing is everything. Your puppy’s capability to comprehend the trainings and lessons taught to him is related to your actions, corrections, and movements. Younger dogs may be confused by discipline, so it is critically important that puppies understand the link between their disobedience and the resulting disciplinary correction.
For example, when your puppy is chewing on a bone or playing with a toy he is likely to not come to your command.However, if the young dog is told to “come” under circumstances such as when on a leash, followed by a gentle pull towards the trainer, and subsequently followed by praising the dog, then he will find out that when hearing “come”, he should head towards the trainer, and that rewards will be waiting.
While instilling puppy obedience training on your pet, keep it simple and do easy exercises one at a time. This will be a much simpler concept for the puppy rather than trying to teach them the whole exercise in a single session. Be patient and always allow for positive reinforcement so that your puppy will learn to obey your commands though slowly, yet surely.
